A fairly standard hack'n'slash dungeon crawl with solid mechanics, fun combat, and boring loot. Haven't tried the multiplayer yet. Not much replayability.
Lately the market has seen a glut of these multiplayer tower defense games. The least interesting of the lot is Sanctum, which feels fairly sterile and soulless. Multiplayer community is seemingly barren.
A fantastic example of "PC gaming", for better or worse. Ask yourself if you enjoy the following:
-No hand-holding
-Enormous depth and complexity
-Extremely convoluted and cluttered UI
-Feeling constantly overwhelmed
If you do, you'll like this game. This isn't a smug, sarcastic review - a lot of people really do enjoy these things, and they would thus enjoy this game.
