Keeping the Steam Community safe!
Welcome to the Steam Group for Anti-Hackers!
Anti-Hackers is a group set up with an aim to try and reduce the amount of people getting hacked. The group has helped lots of people stay safe and secure. We have over 2000 members, and we're growing all the time.
The Steam group can provide the tools (announcements etc.) needed to keep people informed about new phishing websites to look out for and other threats. Our website, (www.anti-hackers.co.uk) is also a good place to get information.
Our website can and will also provide up to date information about new phishing threats and contains many guides and other articles which may be of interest, two of which are linked to below. We are always trying to improve our service to try and make you feel safer and protected online, which is why you may wanted to visit the pages mentioned below.
As we are a non-profit organisation, you will never be charged for the use of our services. However, we would always be glad of any donations if you wanted. Our advice is free to you, the forums are free to use and chat to other people with and if you happen to get hacked we will gladly help you out of the trash.
Our slogan - Keeping the Steam Commutiy Safe! - iimplies that we started out on Steam, which we did and our main field of expertice remains with Steam, even through account security remains general throughout the internet.
If you like the idea of our group, have joined, or are an existing member reading this already, I would ask you to invite your Steam Friends to the group since we need to get bigger. After achieving my goal of getting 1000 members before the end of 2010, I set about getting 2000 members before the end of 2011. This goal has also been completed, and I will just leave things withoout goals for now to see how things go.
We are the largest group dedicated to minimising account hacking on Steam. And so I quote Dr. Breen: Whether you are here to say, or just passing through to parts unknown... Welcome to Anti-Hackers!
