It's like a mobile version of an XCOM game. If you know that beforehand it'd be a decent experience if not because of the damn awful 2k Launcher that they forced into players after the game was already released. I would've never bought it if I knew I would've had to deal with that trash, same for all the Rockstar's games.

Just let this series die already instead of keeping it on life support.

Early Access Review
I wasn't even a fan of autobattler games until I tried this. Not only it's incredibly good but it's also free and with an astonishingly generous business model. Even if you don't spend a cent in this game you still have access to every "card" and you can choose from 2 out of 4 hero options at the start of every match. Plus as you play you can earn currency to unlock the rest of them.

A lot of people recommend Fell Seal for Final Fantasy Tactics fans but I had never played one of those games and I still loved this one.

There's so much choice in terms of classes and builds that you can experiment for hours and hours if you so desire. I'd say that's its best quality but the story is also good, the graphics are beautifully crafted and the difficulty curve is perfect.

I can't recommend this enough. It's simply wonderful.

It's been labeled as an ARPG on many reviews but you spend most of your time exploring for collectibles that mostly don't matter. There's no items or a decent skill tree. It should be labeled as a puzzle-platformer.
And for a game with so much platforming you'd think the controls wouldn't be so imprecise or maybe the camera wouldn't be always making your life harder. The controls feel terrible and that's using the recommended option (a controller), I can only imagine how bad this must feel with keyboard and mouse.

It's not a terrible game but if you're gonna buy it you should do it knowing it's a bad Darksiders game and an even worse ARPG.

The scripting is as bad or even worse than in FIFA. It's mind-boggling how such a terrible mechanic is still in the game.

Great game. I wish the difficulty was higher but otherwise a very enjoyable experience.

It's the "souls-like" game (not counting the From Software series) I've liked the most.

I got the DLC thinking I'd get a few characters and a new zone but I was surprised with a new game mode.
The new mode feels very fresh after a few playthroughs of the base game and very much worth playing.
