I knew MC was kind of an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this game, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ he exceeded all my expectations.

I know this is supposed to be a running joke in the series, but at multiple times he crosses the line way hard and this stopped being even slightly funny to me.

Great game though, if you don't mind puzzles that don't any logic connections behind them, it's full of them.

I'm little surprized so many people actully never heard about this game. It's one of the best stealth actions out there. If I had to name something I don't like:
1) While clinging to the wall character sometimes just doesnt want to drop down for whatever reason.
2) Game has some (2) weirdly placed checkpoints that COULD put in you in enemies sight on checkpoint restart, which obviously leads to instant alarm.
3) They reuse a lot of the music throughout the game, some tracks you hear during the game and then after that in cutscenes. It becomes stale quickly.

Other than that, the game is perfect. Well done remastered as well, looks so much better than the original. About 5.1 sound they added? I guess you can hear the difference yeah, but it doesnt really add anything to the game, like gameplay wise. Remastered sound overall is very good.

Probably my favourite game from Klei.

The game is good, however there are two things that keep it from being amazing for me:

1) Movespeed - base character's speed is very slow. Everyone is sprinting at all times. I'm sorry, but if you walking - you're a psycho. If you aren't making or buying coffee later in the game - you're also a psycho. Ideally, this is how I see the solution: walking speed should be just a little higher, base speed on horse should be your running speed and horse's speed should be much higher than that. There are no other way to increase your speed except "+1 speed" consumables, which is also adding to the problem. (Oops, forgot about flooring that gives +0.00000000001 speed, how could I...)

2) Combat system is one of the worst in videogames ever. First place undoubtebly goes to Dont Starve, but Stardew Valley can take the 2nd place. Yes, you can fix that with mods, but I don't like that kind of stance. I wish dev did something with it. Why not make it so your character attacks in the direction of your mouse? This is such an easy fix and it doesnt ruin your game.

For 2008 this game was insane. It still is and I think about it everytime I play through galactic stage. Almost perfect experience throughout the early stages and a little bit dragging closer to "the end". Yes, some mechanics are not very thoughout, but it doesnt completely ruin an experience for you. Moderate replayability and has an amazing editor, in which you can literally spend a dozen of hours.

Legendary game, garbage release. What are you buying here is disappointment. I understand not many people will agree with me, but this one has to go. Let it go. This release is ultimately inferior to any other version of gta:sa you can find online, and you have to pay for it.

I was looking for something from "souls" there, but I didn't find anything. It's just stupid bossrush where you die in one hit. "Souls-like", my ass.

In short: It's pretty good and I had a lot of fun with it.

In long:
Really well thought out classic tower defense. Difficulty curve is on level and you wouldn't feel as if your enemies can't do anything to you. Last few levels will probably make your head spin. Game promotes strategic thinking and resource management. If you don't spend all of your cash straight away, leftovers will earn you interest. Patience is the key to success most of the time. All towers and upgrades are useful, it doesn't feel as "gun tower is all you need" for an entire playthrough. Lots of room for experimentation and strategy optimization. Game provides you with a series of different optional challenges, adding some sort of replayability to the levels. Music is not a blast, but it doesnt get in a way and it's not annoying. As for a pretty old game you'd expect some technical issues, but I didn't experience a thing. It works as a charm and not many games from the 2008 can boast about the same.

I assume this game is console port of some kind, because to scroll down the list you need to move your mouse (???) instead of using a wheel, this leeds to missclicks and was very annoying. While big enemies are very different from each other, smaller enemies are barely distinguishable between their kinds and this is slightly uncomfortable. Narrator becomes really annoying after a few restarts. You can turn him off of course, but if you want to follow the story you will have to struggle through the whole campaign. There's not that much going on plot-wise, but still...

I don't have any DLCs so I can't say whether or not they're worth it.

I'm glad that at least you can launch this now, although you can't buy it and the studio that made this doesn't exist anymore (RIP). The game itself isn't very much polished. Your basic way of killing enemies is jumping on them, and if you touch them on the side they damage you. Sometimes landing the same jump would damage you in one case and killing enemy in the other. This makes you want to avoid corners of hitbox, which leads you to spending extra time on that one enemy. This thingy alone hurts that concept of fast-paced arcade arena. While trying to kill small flying enemies you will most likely just bump into them, staggering yourself without achieveving anything. This game rewards you for not wasting time taking damage, and in the same time you can't trust your own movements half of the time.

Very repetitive and gets boring fast. I doubt this game will ever come back or ever be "finished".
