Love to support my favorite release of 2022

Didn't know about this "pack in" game until I got my own Steam Deck. A fun little adventure showing off a bunch of functions on the Steam Deck. Really makes you wish for a new full game from Valve, they still know how to write good dialogue

Nate Bargatze is great as Grady, I immediately knew it was him. Cool to see one of my favorite comics in a neat little game.

I'm glad we're in an era where games that would get buried on flash sites can be featured prominently on store fronts and the people who make them can get paid.

UPDATE: While the combat for NGS is a lot of fun, you run out of things to do really quick. the gameplay loop isn't anywhere nearly as satisfying as the base pso2 and you can complete daily/weekly tasks in a much quicker manner because of it. Hoping the game is better soon.

UPDATE 2: It's been 2 years and despite playing almost every day for the past Year and a Half or so, I have 1/4th the playtime I do on base PSO2. The gameplay loop and content just isn't as engaging still. I know Global PSO2 got a crazy sped-up timeline of content but I think the core exploration and battle loop was way more fun. Updated graphics and combat can't save that.

A great f2p MMO now available on the much easier to manage Steam.

PSO2 spent 7 years being exclusive to Japan which was accessible to players elsewhere but through some external programs and clients. NOW you can play it anywhere without much trouble. A really fun gameplay loop that doesn't get boring (for myself at least) that has had me playing daily since its launch on the Xbox One. Microtransactions are there but not necessary to enjoy the game, many clothing options can be purchased with easily earned in-game currency from other players.

Kiwami 2 uses a different game engine than the previous entries, 0 and Kiwami, with much better graphics and overall a much better combat system as well.

I have never played the original Yakuza on the Playstation 2 but coming off of Yakuza 0 this is a great continuation of the series that also works as a great jumping off point if you don't want to play Yakuza 0 for whatever reason.
