The HL2DM Draft Group
This is the one stop shop for the HL2 Deathmatch Draft Night.
The Draft is great fun because the best players are spread out to teams and players with less skill are also spread amongst the Teams.
This makes for exciting close matches, sometimes by 1 frag.
The Draft will be 4 versus 4 (or 3 v 3, depending on participation) and will be run entirely from Steam.
There are 8 different Draft Team Group pages created for the teams.
Team Captains will be picked (or coerced) during the week and will see after their teams that night.
Here is how it will work:
-All Draft members can check for any schedule changes and general information here.
Draft members will get event updates.
-On Draft night, event messages will go out to join this group chat.
-Join Chat on this page. This is the Draft Lobby. You can only be picked if you are in the Draft Chat Lobby.
-No aliases. Use your community known nickname.
-All Team Capt. assigns and Order of Draft will be decided randomly by The Hat.
-Team Captains will pick and while they are picking, each Team Captain (1 - 8) will assigned their own Draft Team group page.
-As the picks go down, players will be invited to their group.
-Accept the Team invite and join chat.
During the Draft, the players will see their Captain there and after, get server info and gameplans.
--There will be three matches (best total kills of 2 15 min. rounds, 3rd rnd.if tied) to determine a winner. Winner moves on. Do not leave. You will advance if you win.

-Everything will done in Steam. The Teammates will be the only folks invited to their group
The Draft will be played by Single Elimination Bracket.
Division 1 is Team 1 vs Team 8 and will play Team 4 vs Team 5 in match 2
Division 2 is Team 2 vs Team 7 and will play Team 3 vs Team 6 in match 2
Winners of Div 1 will play Div 2 in the final
Summary:
Join this Group Chat prior to Draft.
Team Captains will pick and invites will go out to the players. Accept invite and join team chat (players are kicked from Draft lobby as they are picked).
Decide your plan and get join server info from your Captain.
Winners advance, so stick around.
