This is an interesting strategy game, with no real victory conditions, that allows one to explore history and ask ones self what if. What if the Holy Roman Empire had united instead of staying a number of bickering states; what if england had won the hundred years war; or what if Rome had managed to survive in the east rather than falling to the Ottomans. It is these types of scenarios that make the game, you set your goals and decide when you have won. So if you like strategy or are a history buff this just might be the game for you. PS: Be prepared for a tough learning curve. This is a game from paradox and they don't go wimp out on the difficult, but it is much easier to learn than some of their other games.
