I mean if Paradox can do it, why Kalypso can't :)
There's plenty of new things in the DLC and map is insanely big, and where there is my home town in it, it's automatically positive review from me.

It's just the best game of this type ever, of course I recommend it!
Only bad thing about it to mention is that Paradox will milk us in years to come with DLC's :)
That being said, buy your dlc's on time or they will pile up xD

So sad to see lack of players, and ones that are playing keep playing the same mode and the same map.
Very boring for someone that is not hard core BF player.

IMPORTANT!
Everything you need to learn about the game is in the amazing and detailed tutorial!
There is no need to buy PDF DLC's unless you want to support more developer/publisher!

Railway Empire 2 is a simulation strategy game that lets you build and manage a railway company in the 19th century. You can choose from four regions: Europe, USA, South America, and Asia, and each one has its own campaign and challenges. You can also play in free mode and create your own scenarios.

The game focuses on trade and economy, as you have to connect cities and industries with your rail network, transport goods and passengers, and compete with rival companies. You also have to research new technologies, upgrade your trains and stations, and deal with events such as strikes, accidents, and natural disasters.

The game also features co-op multiplayer, where you can team up with up to three other players and share the same railway company. You can cooperate or compete with each other, and use diplomacy and sabotage to influence the market.

The game has a large and detailed map that covers the whole world, with realistic terrain and weather effects. The graphics are crisp and colorful, and the soundtrack is fitting for the era. The game also has a lot of historical references and facts that add to the immersion.

Railway Empire 2 is a game for fans of trade and management sims, who enjoy planning and optimizing their strategies. It is not a game for those who prefer fast-paced action or combat. The game can be challenging and complex at times, but also rewarding and fun when you see your railway empire grow.

Knowing previous Paradox games I instantly bought Royal Edition, to save myself the trouble later.
So it's your own fault that you want to pass cheaper by buying vanilla game.
DLC is great!

As it's written on trailer Pre Alpha Footage. It looks, feels and plays like alpha.
Not to go in depth with review, but it needs more variety of EVERYTHING, events, features, assets...

I had at first a bad start with bad rolls and decisions which made me start over after 20ish minutes of playing.
Second run was complete opposite, just by focusing on people to like me, everything went smooth. Mini-events were super easy, saloon was flourishing..... so I guess it depends a lot on character creation and rng(if there is one working).
6 hours in game and I'm at end-game(played at fast speed).
When I saw a trailer and bundle with Crossroads Inn I honestly expected to be like it, but on my disappointment it's not, not even close to it.

On the bright side although the game is clunky a bit with items placement and pathfinding, there are no any game braking bugs, It's def playable.

HOWEVER I see no early access on store page, and IF this is a full game with all the content that developer is planing to do with this game, and if you are a real lover of tycoon and management games, you may want to skip this one, or get it when it goes below 7$ because that's how much is worth at this point.

For now I'm leaving positive review with hopes that developers will keep working on it, because it has great potential.
But I'll be back :)

I was hoping to a good alternative for Hell Let Loose, sadly I'm not impressed.
I understand this game was created as Squad thingy mod or something, but there's no excuse by amount of money they earned there are 0 assets/models. Especially if you play as infantry, game feels empty.
Although sound and explosions animations are great, lack of everything else I'm sure I won't play infantry ever again.
That being sad this game is very good if not great tank simulation, I just love everything else about tanks, models, sounds, simulation it's just great.
So unless you plan to play RP commander or tank, stick to Hell Let Loose, it's overall much better.

Positive review with hopes that this game will grow to something better.

First and most important, bare in mind that this is not typical game. It's like story driven fairytale. And great one it is.
So regular jrpg/rpg gamers should know it's not battle's oriented, no inventory, abilities, skills or items management.
It's perfect for children, and how i can not recommend it when there is small vibe of Lion King in it, where most of characters are super cute animals. Also it's worth mentioning relaxing and immersive soundtrack that really plays well with the game, art is simple but it suits it's great.
At point of writing review I haven't finish the game, but I had to share first impression.
As this is not my type of game that I play, I would not pay the full price for it, however if it is your cup of tea, go for it and support the developer.
Got it on 50% discount and don't regret a cent.

The models and animations are amazing, but on some maps lack of foliage can really kill the ambient of the game.
In short notes it can give you pretty good fps time for cheap price.
