In the meantime, enjoy my b4l4d2 comic, linked below. It's about how they all got together before the game started, keeping it as canon as possible.

I love the parkour gameplay of this game, to the extent that I played Brotherhood and Revelations despite being completely uninterested in the story.
Thankfully AC3 gives it a new take, giving you different apsect of American history and new interesting characters. And then if they're not interesting, they're at least new. The facial animation was beatiful to behold, after playing Dragon Age and watching some Mass Effect. The subtlety in Haytham was a joy to watch.
Running through treetops was how it should be, free-flowing and effortless, instead of splintery,ant-ridden and tiring. The only annoying thing was the damn pages. Oh and in some situations endlessly running up a wall instead of running away. But I can't confirm if that wasn't a bit of idicoy on my part.
Finally? Everyone get this game so I can play multiplayer with you. Share the infuriation that is silently stalking someone only to have another player suddenly become your hunter and ruin EVERYTHING. BASTARD. And all the high-level people with high-level abilities... I like Simple Deathmatch. Even playing field there, my friends. Muahahahaaaaaaaetc.
Peace.
Hauntingly disturbing with puzzles that have just the right amount of frustrating obviousness, once you figure them out.
Technically, I don't think I've played a good platformer in a long time, let alone one with a dark story and beautiful graphics. Level, character and battle system design is so good that it makes you forgive the few glitches I did encounter.
The cursor not disappearing in-game, some enemies not spawning = can't progress and some objects actvated before a death not resetting, but still looking like they were active (cursed wind flute). I really enjoyed the card castle in the sky. I think they timed everything just right. Bits with the Executioner were great. Such a great mix of different types of gameplay... started to replay as soon as I finished.
Thanks for the gift Nanto, with a few noblood GMods I was able to play it with my kids. :)
