Early Access Review
Played for 45 mms and then exited. Came back an hour later and now, the game freezes after loading ("Not responding") and crashes to desktop. Retried for 10 mns, got fed up and requested a refund.

Once in a while, you have a game that becomes a legend. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is one of those games. It will stick with you for a long time, if not forever. Buy this game, play it, replay it, savour it. A true gem.

The clicking areas to trigger events are just tedious. You never know if you're clicking the right object or if the game didn't detect your click. You spend your time walking around the same rooms, clicking everything until the game finally detects your clicking. Often, it was the object you clicked first but that the game had not registered. So, you have spent 10 minutes walking around for nothing and you become frustrated and bored until you quit. Also, it's not scary at all, not even the cheap jump scares. Paid $1.50 for this and requested a refund anyway. It's bad.

Short and sweet. Has some kind of Q.U.B.E. vibe to it. Wished there was some closure cinematic when completing the game but, hey, it's free. Can't complain.

The controls are just plain terrible, turning the game into a chore to control the character.
But the final straw was the game crashing to dektop on me at the end of the first mission.
Refund please.

This is with great regret that I have to thumb down this game. For years, Quantic Dream has made fantastic games. This one is no exception: this is so far their masterpiece.
However, it's an absolute garbage in terms of PC standards: lags and freezes for no reasons, out of nowhere, my PC fans starts blowing like crazy, clear indication that something is definitely wrong with graphics optimization, it takes several minutes to load (between 2 and 4) and last but not least, crashes miserably at random. Not even an error window: all of a sudden, you're back to desktop like if you Alt-ed+F4 the game. It even crashed sometimes right after reaching the main menu with Chloe.
I tried many times to forgive and forget but after almost 19 hours of gameplay, this is too much. I haven't been able to play a single game without ending up crashing to desktop. If loading wasn't taking so much time, this could maybe be tolerable.
Quantic Dream. you make wonderful games. I've been following you and buying your games since Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy. You made the right decision to position yourself on the PC market. But that's a tough nut to crack open. You're dealing now with multiple OS combined with multiple hardware. This community has high expectations in terms of realiability and performance on the games it buys. If you don't act fast, you'll simply waste your opportunity and damage your reputation for years. For instance, I will not buy any of your future games unless I have clear evidence that it works properly on a PC machine. And I'm fortunate: Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls work relatively normally on my PC, which is not the case for the majority of the players according to the forums. WAKE UP BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

Unfinished and unpollished game with a couple of good ideas but that leads nowehere. One hour of gameplay ending with To be continued . Pretty sure it will never get finished given that the last update was in 2017. Got it for less than a dollar and frankly, I'd have been pissed to pay $12 for that

Starts off very promising but falls short very quickly. The action sequences get boring super fast mainly because loading time is horrendous. Therefore, when you die, you have to wait for a solid 30 seconds for the game to load your checkpoint. This is a total buzz killer. It completely gets you out of the game. You're actually more frightened to die not because of the enemies but because you'll to have to suffer from the boring loading time again, waiting for the game to finally let you play.
The mine level is truly the worst: I got stuck into walls two times, right when I was exiting a correct tunnel to get a green light. But what made me stop playing is a spot at level 3 that makes two ghosts spawn at the same time and sandwich you to death. After retrying and suffering from the horrible loading time at least 10 times, I gave up. Out of my total gameplay, I wouldn't be surprised that 2 hours were wasted waiting for the game to load.
