We're playing more NieR: Automata tonight, and we have plenty to do as we've opened up the world and have leveled enough to confidently explore all of it. So I'm thinking that we're probably in the second act out of three, and how fast we progress to the third act is a matter of if we complete all the side missions or not. While I'd love to 100% this game, if it eventually comes down to grinding levels and farming money, I'd rather just move forward with the main story. So far, the game has had a good balance between mechanical progression, side stories, and the main story.

What aren't they being told? What truths will they uncover? Will they change their allegiance based on what they learn?

We're playing more NieR: Automata tonight with a lot of questions about the state of the world, humanity, and our "enemies" in the game. There's clearly a conspiracy about the war that 2B is fighting, and the relationship between humanity, aliens, and machines. I have a feeling that facts, evidence, and the truth will cause conflict between 2B's conscience and her orders, and she'll have to make a choice on where she stands.

Tonight we're going to jump into NieR: Automata for the first time. I don't know much about the game or it's characters, other than the game being well received by the action RPG community, since its original release in 2017. I also know that there is A LOT of fan art and cosplay surrounding the female protagonist, so I'm interested to see what the hype is all about.

Clearly, I'm not ready to say goodbye to Cyberpunk 2077 and Night City just yet. So I'm jumping back in the game tonight to further unpack how I feel about the game, the ending that I got, and to do some side missions, gigs and maybe even explore some alternate ending with this version of V.

We're returning to Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 to finish more side missions before passing the game's first, "point of no return." While I think this is more of a first act point of no return, I'm still trying to avoid locking myself out of any interesting game content, especially if it could impact the main story.
