This game is a boss. With the new Creation Kit, it's going to be well worth your coin.

You won't regret it.

GTA IV took the franchise and twisted it around towards a realism path. While it shocked many fans, people adapted to it quickly.
I'm a long-term GTA veteran who's played it from the first game and even though I was doubtful at the start, I don't regret buying the fourth edition.

The requirements for running this game are quite high. Especially if you want to play it with high graphical setting. Even comparing other games of today, GTA 4 seems to want more processing power than comparable games with equal graphics.

But if you have the hardware, you should definately get it. The built-in multiplayer modes extend the lifetime of this game by lots and with modding capabilities, it's a blast to play.

Some modifications even work in online multiplayer, though the server host has to have a mod installed to enable mods to be used. (Which is very understandable. We don't want people using trainers in a serious match, do we?)


You should get it. It's got deep characters and new gameplay.
