Easily the best multiplayer game ever made. There is a plethora of content that is still being released, years after the game came out. The graphics are still some of the best out there, and there's more variety than any other multiplayer game so you'll stay interested for a long time. It's free to play now, so you no longer have any excuse to not play it.

I thought it was really fun, the single player was straight out of the 90s in terms of an FPS with variety and great pacing. It definitely would have benefit a lot from being released sooner than it was, the visuals were good once I determined the proper settings but still dated overall. With post processing on for PC it looked like a blurry pile of ass, so be sure to disable that. The demo was both representative and a bad demo at the same time - its more enjoyable in context of the rest of the game.

The multiplayer has very traditional gameplay modes but is made special again by the arsenal and old school level design. It is pretty laggy unless you're the host, which really brings the experience down. But there's nothing quite like shrinking a guy, then freezing his toy sized body with the freezeray, and finally blowing him to pieces with a couple of pipebombs. Or freezing someone and surrounding him with laser tripmines that he can't escape once unfrozen.
