This game is every bit as good ad CoD. The ability to buy upgrades for a day to test them before dropping the GP to unlock them permanently is a great feature, the gameplay is tight, fast and fun. The depot system is awesome, and smart use of it makes you feel like a tactical genius. Also, nothing beats the rewarding feeling of dropping a mech out of the sky or hefting a minigun and ripping people apart!

This game is awesome! It has a few flaws, to be sure - you'll occasionally get stuck on an invisible wall moving through keyholes, etc, but overlooking those little complaints, the game is set up very well, the combat is awesome, the platforming is just platforming but it's fun. The story is a great take on the Alice universe, and cutting enemies' heads off with a butcher-knife-shaped vorpal blade is incredibly satisfying. Add to those things a dodge system where you turn into bufferflies and then converge back into Alice, and a brink-of-death hysteria system where you become invincible and cry blood, and this game is more than worth the $30 price tag, and even better - it's currently on sale for $15.

Continues from where the first game left off (ignores the two addons to the original), another amazing story, great gameplay, keeps you coming back. Can't wait for FEAR 3.
