I've been playing Elder Scrolls titles since Arena.. and SKyrim continues in the fine tradition. The whole family is fighting over who can play and when. That's a sign of a game that crosses boundries and is worth the investment. Every person in the house is playing this from the 8 year old to the 16 year old.

I was talking about my love of Space games to a friend and he bought me X3 as a gift.. now I'm not sure I need to play anything else.. a huge expansive sandbox universe - like Freespace or Freelancer with modern graphics. It's not perfect but it's a hell of a lot of fun.

Looking for a fun, frenetic yet driving game? Like playing games with your soundtrack? Well Beat hazard is a great mix of Music player and game. The enemies react based upon the beat of the music and it's challenging yet fun. I highly recommend this for the audiophile gamers out there.

That classic Diablo II Feel with a modern engine and all the loot you can grab. With some of the public mods, Torchlight can suck away hours of your spare time and leave you yearning for that one last piece of a unique armor set.

Who needs Minecraft? Terraria is a multiplayer customizable co-op game with crafting, monsters and adventure with a far better developed concept.

An open world, gorgeous graphics and pure chaos I've not enjoyed since I first played Mercenaries 2 in Co-op. It's not quite as nuts as say Saint's Row, but Just Cause 2 is well worth the investment.
