The ZED/AM Alliance
The ZED / AM Alliance is the bringing together of two of the most popular clans in the Total Conversion for UT2004, Killing Floor. After seeing Killing Floor turn retail, and in an attempt to keep the good times rolling with players we all knew and enjoyed playing with, both the clans agreed to join together to make the ZED/AM Alliance, also known as zedam.
This clan is INVITE ONLY, primarily based on keeping in touch with old friends.
The Alliance is run co-operatively between both ZED and AM leaders, those are Nazar/Protector from ZED, Matt/Sudo from ZED and Kyle/Stilkdog from AM. And there is no “Big Boss”, so if you want anything, you can talk to any of Matt, Nazar or Kyle and they will be able to act themselves. This system creates a great community feel and is one of the prides of our alliance.
Our talents vary, and we are not all from similar locations. From the massive USA, to Europe, tiny little islands covered in mud, Syria, we are everywhere
Some of us are highly qualified Electric’y dudes(and some of us obviously aren’t…), some of us still attend school, and some of us are still trying to find that perfect anti-gray formula.
Some of us spend their days listening to great bands such as Muse, some spend their days arguing that somehow there is a better band than Muse, and there is always that guy that doesn’t know who they are, you know, the country boy, then the OTHER guy joins in, the YouTube Linker. Then it all goes to pot, and everyone pretends to be AFK, apart from those OTHER OTHER two guys that are talking about something completely different in the first place. If you haven’t had this kinda talk, then you’ve obviously not experienced the ZED/AM Alliance.
Some of us run Windows, some run Linux, we might even have a Mac out there somewhere.
Some of us play sports, some of us are unable to, some call their woman a sport and have a laugh about it, some don’t have a woman, and some bully others. Wait, no, they don’t, we dont have bullies, BULLYING IS BAD.
But throughout the distinctions that seperate us, we are brought together by one thing, the love for this game, and the friendship we have playing it. As the saying goes, together we are one. We strive to achieve the impossible, together, and have a fuckin’ awesome time doin it. And you may be that guy watching the YouTube video thinkin, “Man they look fuckin’ TIGHT DAWG”, and want a chance in on the opportunity to be enlightened into bliss. But hey dood, you suck at this damn game, your search on youtube was actually for a walkthrough. Remember that together we are strong against all evil, and in despair we shine as one, and for that alone, and of course that you are awesome enough to understand the crap I’m saying, you too can make this World, a more awesome place.
MEAT also signed a treaty with AM, and are now also considered our Brothers in Arms.
