Natural Selection blends first-person combat with real-time strategy in atmospheric sci-fi environments. It allows one player to become Commander and issue orders to live players from a top-down perspective. The marines use near-future technology like siege cannons and phase gates and the aliens evolve into lifeforms that run on walls, fly and devour marines whole. NS has an orchestral soundtrack by Jeremy Soule and was created by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, Inc.

Ridiculously good tower defense game with first person combat. Top quality production values for a game this cheap. Loved playing around with the physics and there's a little bit of a plot going around too.
Grand Theft Auto in Mars with destructible buildings. I spent hours just demolishing stuff with a sledgehammer, very relaxing.
Excellent turn-based strategy for playing on laptop when away from home.
