Imagine you're at a party and it turns out it's your birthday and oh my god everyone got you gifts and you open them and they're springloaded and presents are flying everywhere oh but wait they're actually swords and now you're impaled by swords. Or just pretend you're playing what you thought Diablo 3 would be. Because that's Torchlight 2.

It's free and you get to waste paper. Downside: it doesn't work with a scanner, so you'd better have a webcam ready.

Delightful. The platforming can be hit or miss at points, but the puzzles are interesting and the co-op is great fun. In-level challenges also make it a blast.

This game aspires to be something it isn't. Clunky controls and a slow moving character really hold it down, and the co-op is local only. If you want a similar experience, you're better off getting Spelunky for free.

Juvenile, immature, but witty nonetheless. Clever gameplay mechanics that transcend typical RPG games in that it's not a menu navigator.

A lot of people missed out on a great game by not buying this when it first came out. Don't make that mistake again. Great adventure fun with a genuinely funny script.

Honestly, if you don't own a copy yet, you've missed out on hours of fun. The limited number of players and varied skill levels among players makes matchmaking a bitch, and finding friends to play with can be challenging at this point, but the mutations make it a fun game to pick up and play every so often.
