I'd recommend this game to anyone who wants to mine and adventure in a 2D world. Adventuring is what you'll do most of anyway, like fighting zombies at night or skeletons underground while looking for something to make an armor, weapon or tool out of. X3
Having played both the single player and co-op, I can safely say that this is a game to get. It is very fun, better than the original in my opinion. Go play the first one if haven't, then get Portal 2 and play the single player. Got loads of funny lines, fun puzzles, and just all around fun. The co-op is obviously only possible with a friend, so find a friend who owns it and try out the co-op together. It is very fun, with lots of funny lines and fun puzzles like the single player, but not exactly like it, obviously. Well, obviously if you've played through the single player and are playing the co-op.
Anyway, enough of rambling. Get the first Portal and play it if you haven't, then buy Portal 2 and play that. Both are fun, and both single player and co-op in Portal 2 are very fun.
