Nice, but be warned that it has sad elements.

8/10. Short and sweet, great graphics, amazing atmosphere and soundtrack, solid combat, and of course A CAT.

Although be warned that:
- it might be more difficult than it appears at first
- map could be much better, as it is very barebones when it comes to markers, and has no support for custom markers
- if you'd like to 100% the games you play, or to get all achievements, this would take a lot of time and effort in Momodora; I myself opted to not do so

Overall I enjoyed playing through it.

An interesting example of how to make a great horror-ish game with (almost) no jumpscares. Great length also, I've finished it in 6-ish hours and it felt about right.

Developers manage to convey an intriguing story through environment and gameplay without using a single line of text or narration.

I also appreciate that, while the game has a lot of explicit imagery clearly designed to be shocking and to be interpreted, it still does not bash you over with its version of what does it suppose to mean, leaving most of it to your interpretation.

Combat was sometimes challenging due to limited resources, but not insurmountable. I also believe that it's possible to avoid pretty much all of it until the final few encounters, but I did not try that.

Not my favorite type of hidden objects game, but an OK game nontheless.

If you are a fan of the genre, then I'd say consider giving this a try.

Update after passing DLC: ok, 9.5/10, that was fun :)

Great adventure game with some horror elements. 9/10, decent gameplay, interesting story, bunch of unusual elements that work together. Played through it in one sitting, took around 6 hours, it kept me engaged through the whole process.

Few pieces here and there felt like they could be more polished, but it's just me nitpicking at this point.

If you are fan of survival horror stuff like first few Silent Hill or Resident Evil games, this is neither really, but consider giving it a try, you might find it close enough.

TL;DR: worst game of four in the series released so far, very disappointed

Pros:
- narrative-focused horror game, kind of an interactive fiction
- an interesting idea
- previous 3 games were maybe not great but ok-to-good, so I had some hopes :)

Cons:
- performance is horrible, and feels like it got worse in comparison to previous three games
- controls are even more clunky and less responsive than in previous games (which I thought was impossible to achieve and yet here we are)
- more "interactive" elements that aren't really interactive at all, and just take away from the narrative-focused part
- cheap sound-based "ah-ha! gotcha!1" jump-scares

3/10, would probably pause and think before buying the next game in series - I truly hope they will improve, but I won't hold my breath

Protagonist who is definitely not drawn based on Natalie Portman saves the world from bunch of evil everyday objects. Can recommend.

It was OK for one playthrough, but it has minor issues here and there. The plot is meh, but the ending was surprising indeed. Tried replaying it second time right away but got bored pretty quickly, not sure if I will ever replay it really, maybe if I will ever forget the plot.

Beautiful and sad story with amazing Ukrainian translation

I was excited to see Ukrainian translation listed for this game. But alas, it's half google translate, half russian.

I had to play the game in English and the voice acting is just bad.

The story may have been interesting, but it desperately needs a professional writer.
