Great singleplayer game. Has great soundtrack, gameplay, storyline, and what have you.
I recommend fakefactory's cinematic mod for those who wish to experince hl2 in a new light.
Garry's Mod is a very awesome sandbox game. With the included tools the possibilities are endless. Create a structure, make a driveable car out of any prop and some thrusters, pose ragdolls in funny postitions or anything else.
Multiplayer is also a ton of fun, however there are quite a few younger kids that play and may be somwhat annoying.
