More movie than game. This might as well have been a reboot if they weren't leaning so heavily on the history of the last two games for Max's character. It doesn't look or play like a Max Payne game. The effects they are constantly using to demonstrate that Max is intoxicated is sometimes enough to make you nauseous.

I'm FORCING myself to finish this game and I think I'm on chapter 13 or 14 out of 15 but it isn't a ride I'd recommend to others. Graphics are decent, shooting is functional, slow mow cam on some of the kills is entertaining, dialogue is painful, predictabilty is rampant, and cliche is the the rule of the day.

Does not, in my opinion, stack up against the prior entries in the series (for the time). Bullet time in the orginal Max Payne, although butt ugly by todays standards, was an amazing and new. This game stands on the shoulders of giants, and poops down there back.

Lara may be in better form in this game than she ever has before. The game looks and plays phenominally. The Tressfx (hair fx) seems like a small thing but when you see it in action you'll be forever spoiled on the ever so common helmet head of most video games.

Really really excellent game. They have a multiplayer tacked on but does anyone play a tomb raider game for multiplayer??

This isn't a spoiler I don't think but this is the story before she became "the" tomb raider not a reboot of the first game. still worth a play and I hope that she gets a chance to have another round as a sequel.

Dumb fun that I dearly loved. When I played this I realized it was the game that I wished GTA IV had been.
