It would be wrong to say that violent, tearing carnage does not come easily to me. It's *not* tearing your throats out that doesn't come easily to me. Please don't make it any harder.

Visit Sindome's profileSurprisingly complete for a DLC that takes place in a (relatively) small area. Good 5-7 hours of gameplay up in this one, and the plotline is fairly interesting. Would have been better if there was an option to integrate it directly into the game proper. Also not entirely convinced it's worth 15$, but I nabbed it on sale for 7.50 and it was definitely worth that much.
The sound of the mortars, the music of death
We're playing the devils symphony
Our violins are guns conducted from hell
Are you playing?
Do you follow the conductors lead?
No one knows you.
No one cares about a single violin.
Deus Ex was one of the greatest PC games of all time - from the sheer freedom of choice to the intricacies of the plot, the conspiracies within conspiracies (some of them even plausible!), all the way to the OH MY GOD JC A BOMB. While Deus Ex Human Revolution doesn't approach the sheer depth or the queasy uneasiness that the original could give you with its multi-layered conspiracy theories, it is still a fucking excellent game. The plot is the ONLY place it falls short of the original - and even then, Eidos Montreal can't be blamed as this was a prequel - it necessarily had to lead in to Deus Ex logically and that severely limits the writers. Nevertheless, they did a stellar job.
So get this game. When the power drops, go in and go in and go in like the US Marshall and his three daughters and we lose the vaccine. Get PILLS against my orders. Get moving.
