I was once told "You never realize what you have, until it is gone." Eventually I understood the meaning of that saying, but never embraced it. My mind made it seem as if I felt the meaning, yet I always knew it was not there... until now. There's always a time when people wish to go back in their past and relive some moments, I wish I could relive my childhood, where my family was intact, people were kind even in times when all hope seemed lost, and most importantly, no one disappeared. Will this pining ever go away, that I cannot answer, but I can say that I will never forget everyone that gave me even an ounce of happiness in my life.

I just read an article on the dangers of heavy drinking.... Scared the shit out of me. So that's it! After today, no more reading
