the fairly enjoyable combat gameplay seems both too simplistic and short to justify positioning this as a full price game. its pretty though. pay $20 or less and you wont get so mad at how you dont have your own multiplayer characters and how you need to run autohotkey to use mouselook

fukken sick game mate. dogs, guns, infinitely respawning bandits, inventory management. dont mistake this for an rpg tho. its a linear fps with some really roomy maps and very solid shooting

This game gives you a lot of freedom with its puzzles. You're given a toolkit and get to build a solution your way. Learning to think around the requirements - what you do and don't have to do - is both challenging and rewarding. If you can appreciate elegant solutions to problems then I'm sure you will appreciate SpaceChem.
