Much like those pesky droids, this was the Minecraft I was looking for. It's not meant to be an online box of legos as much as an action/adventure dwarf fortress-lite. Focused much more on combat and some sweet items/drops, you can get a sense of completion out of this game although you'll want more when you're "done." The devs are adding lots of features though, so I expect to dive back in every few months until they release a mod tool and then it will really hit the fan.

Of all the strategy games on Steam this one comes out on top for me. It's a much needed dose of old school HoMM action, with it's own twist that makes it fresh and challenging. It manages to tie everything together and get things "just right" with a charm all its own.
