Great graphics and I can tell there is SO MUCH interesting story possibility on the map but way too much grind. Really wanted to like it, but I got bored and couldn't stay focused and every time I came back to try again I couldn't remember how to play and then would get frustrated before I relearned. Crafting was so complex I couldn't figure it out for ages, and I love a good crafting game so I'm bummed that I just couldn't be patient enough for this one.

Calm, adorable, interesting sound oriented puzzles with an accessibility option, surreal and charming.

Best one yet! Gorgeous art, great music, just the right amount of collection tasks, good plot. Absolutely loved seeing Black Rose again, and it was great to play a damsel saving the kingdom instead of needing to save. I loved seeing some more depth of the plot this time, with sacrificial heroes and wealth distribution. Heroic!

It can feel like a grind at times, but it's worth it.

Brilliant story-driven game. A great companion book to read while playing this is "Empress: The Astonishing Reign of Nur Jahan" by Ruby Lal which will be published in July 2018. I got an early advanced reader's copy to read and I kept thinking about 80 days as I read it, and vice versa. Great non-fiction biography about the only female co-sovereign of the Mughal Empire.

This is the best game I have ever played.

It's my favourite bits of Oregon Trail, gold cartridge Zelda, Asheron's Call, Dark Ages of Camelot, LOTR, WoW ... and it's completely its own thing.

I never understood people who watched soap operas before I fell in love with this game, but now I get it. These are *my* stories. These characters are so beautifully revealed as you get to know them. There's an underlying moral to humanize everyone and be patient; even that person you stereotypically had issues with in high school.

Curiosity is rewarded.

Excellent replay value.

And it is a completionist's greatest dream / worst nightmare.

Thank you, Concerned Ape. Your hard work shows and has utterly paid off.

Simple ancient Egyptian themed resource management via a card game. A game of trading up.

As a long-time Artifex Mundi fan, it's so exciting when one of their developers' adds new mechanisms to the game. There's some clever new ways introduced for for the hidden-object pieces of the game.

Good storyline, our favourite voice actress heroine from many good Artifex Mundi games, and a cute little cat-like munchkin with curly horns shows up throughout. Loved collecting the various alchemical recipes.

Nice mellow few hours of gameplay.

Wow. A rare HOG that out-paces quite a few of the Artifex Mundi games. If you like most of the Artifex Mundi games, you'll like this too. Clever puzzles, coherent story line, decent voice acting. Linear game play, yeah, but it's all put teogether well; you never wind up with the knife you can't use when a box cutter is expected situation that gets frustrating in some HOG games. I also liked that the HOG objects were often unique (I was happy to be asked for an air filter when many other HOGs assume the target audience doesn't know what one is, oy), or several interesting, interactive layers to them. Nicely done.

Cute game. Good music and art, decent story line, decent voice acting. Good center of the road HOG with a few truly great puzzles.
