Steam community group requesting the release of Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, and Silent Hill 4 on Steam.
At this point in time, the best way to acquire the older Silent Hill games on PC is to pirate them, as many PC gamers nowadays will get their games primarily or exclusively through digital means. Those older Silent Hill games aren't sold on any digital distribution channels at this point in time, despite the popularity they hold with gamers. Silent Hill: Homecoming released on Steam already, and even though the sales aren't exactly incredible it's still viewed as a great gesture among PC gamers. If the older Silent Hill games released on Steam, Konami could market and profit off of their Silent Hill games, and PC gamers would have legal access to them. Win/win, right?
