Basic rules; will go further when and if mroe people get interested. Basically, the Army is trying to stop the zombies from spreading; evacuate civillians and eliminate any threat to others. The Bandits are that threat. This is a struggle for power. The more areas the Army conquers (And by 'conquering' I mean holding down, such as a group of soldiers go into a town and clear out the zombies inside that town, along with any bandits and evacuating any civillians possible; or neutralizing them if they pose a threat) the more vehicles the Army will have access to. When an area is conquered; a marker on the map will identify it as so. This works the same for the bandits, ift hey choose to play like that. Bandits jobs is to fuck with players on the civillian side; and sabotage the efforts of the Army to clear out the infection. Why would they want this? If this area is cleared out then they will be held accountable for what they have done. Civillians are the survivors. They do not want to belong to a side and are the neutral faction. They can help out either side; but generally they won't like bandits and try and help out the Army. The Army will start out on an aircraft carrier with one transport helicopter. Civillians must scavenge for their vehicles. bandits will start out with a lightly armored car; such as the Vodnik. I am not sure about that yet. If this group gets bigger; the more fun we will all have. That being said; if this group gets to a big enough amount of players; we can add mroe than just ranks; but specialties and officially change roles (Such as Pilot, Machine Gunner, Medic and things like that). Each city will count for a certain amount of values, and whichever side has it will recieve vehicles and weapons. For example; a town like Kamenka would not yield too much worth of firepower; whereas Cherno or Elektro would yield heavily armored vehicles and maybe a few tanks to make things interesting. I am trying to design this to be fair; so we'll see how this goes.
-----Instructions on how to join this server.
First off this server uses client based rMod, which means you are going to have to install it on your own. I can help you, so if you are having trouble; add me as a friend.
Link for the download of rMod: http://www.mediafire...idr7hprerq1qa75
Once you have that downloaded you will have to go to your program files, find steam, go to steam apps, go into common, then operation arrowhead, and copy and paste @rMod into there. That takes care of the downloading portion.
Now; for it to not give you any errors you will have to download DayZ Commander. Once you have DayZ commander installed, look for where it says settings, and add this as your launch parameters without the quotations "-mod=@DayZ;@rMod"
After you have finished with that, look under it for Launch Dayz. Boom; you are done.
-------------------------------People and their factions will go under here.
