Ok, so I bought this interesting little gem during the Steam Summer Sale for $2.50. What's great about this game is that there is no instructions, menus, or any sort of guidance besides you wandering about and figuring things out over time. Also a great part is getting to understand the challanges ahead that you face through subsequent trial and error, and previous experiences you've encountered. Not a single word was spoken and yet an entire story was told. If you ever get the chance to play this, please do yourself a huge favor and take a few hours to sit down and enjoy this great little atmospheric trip.

This game will make you lose track of time... A LOT of time. Addictive by nature, Civ 5 has hundreds of hours of replayable gameplay across expansive maps with plenty of ways to achieve victory. Whether you are a fan of military might, political prowess, or even scientific study, there are many ways to win against your fellow neighbors. I highly recommend if you pick this up, that you include the Gods and Kings DLC. G&K fleshed out the tech trees heavily, and redid the AI from the ground up to be a lot better at flanking, using a wider selection of units in times of war, and gave them many more ways to go about being political besides declaring war and leaving snide remarks. The Addition of religion and spies pretty much tie up any loose ends that any older fans of Civ 4 may have been waiting for, along with keeping the non tile stacks of doom from 5.

With this installment of The Elder Scolls, they took everything good from Morrowind and Oblivion, combined it, and cranked the scale up to 11. If you felt the combat was lacking in Oblivion, they overhauled the mechanics to include new critical finishers, stealth kills, and a bunch of combat mechanics that feel like they were taken straight from the popular Oblivion mod Deadly Reflex. This is by far one of the better time wasters out there at the moment and is fully worth every penny.
