Bastion is an instant classic. The soundtrack is amazing to the point of being spoilers, and the narrative driven gameplay really draws you in.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. comes with it's share of flaws, but patches and support have brought out the best of the game, and it's a standout title as a survival game.
