So I bought this game just because it was on sale last weekend. I had seen it placed among games like BC2, ME2, and SC2 on IGN.com and it later won their most atmospheric game and I can only agree. While it's not the prettiest game on the market it is hardly a major detractor. No game claiming to be a survival horror game has ever truely reached the genre more perfectly than this; you can't even fight back against enemies. All you can do is survive and these enemies are fast and if you stop to look at how creepy and deformed they are all it will do is kill you. This is a game that opens with a warning from it's developer: Don't play this game to win. I could easily up the brightness and play in the day without good headphones and this would be a rather bland game. But playing this game at 3:00 in the morning with the lights out and quality headphones on full blast, the eerie sounds of the title screen set the scene. Definitely one of the strongest games I have played in some time.
