If you happen to enjoy the Zelda titles on Game Boy (Color) and consider atmosphere and immersion to be a big part of your gaming experience, then by all means, give Anodyne a chance.
Initially initerested in the similarities to one of my favourite game franchises and my favourite games within, I was treated to an astoundingly well designed gem. Only having stumbled across this by chance I can't believe what I would have missed out here, sound design, level design, gameplay, everything seems to be exactly in place where it should be. All of this while retaining an ominous and mysterious world I for once actually felt like I was exploring something new.

Anyone who considered this game on a first glance, don't worry, you won't be disappointed if you purchase into this indie gem, and to anyone else, give yourself a push! You won't regret it!

A nice puzzle-RPG Hybrid that can waste your time inbetween while being able to stay surprisingly interesting until you achieved your goal.

A truly outstanding short story, that succceeds in piercing the heart of anyone that enjoys a mysterious development on moral choices.

There may be little to no gameplay, the graphics definitely show this game originated from the RPGMaker Tool (a very good one for that, though!) but this roughly 3-4 hour tale is a worthy investment for anyone who can appreciate "that little something" a lot of games these days lack.
