This already addictive game just got a big content patch which makes it interesting to start a new character/world. I never played this multi but if anyone wants to run around getting killed by giant eyeball demons and build a quaint house only to have it invaded by zombies which slaughter the occupants... let me know! I believe the host can keep saving the multi map as a persistant world that can be continually explored, mined, and built in.

Ridiculously entertaining shooter that combines an oldschool feel with a more modern RPG-esque leveling and upgrade paths. Lots of small, fun details in the artwork as well as audio snippets, and the voiceover main missions. Has a little bit of the sandbox feel of a game like Freelancer, and you are not overly penalized for respeccing. Brilliant, and very much worth the price of admission. p.s. the zombie mechanic is suprisingly well done.

For the click-click-click Diablo fix, until D3 is released. With a nice 3D engine and one very good total conversion mod out there... plus the nightmare/hell modes in each.
