The Natural Instinct of Healing.

As a Medic, you must have the endowed gift of naturally knowing when to heal. This means you must be able to:
Heal targets on fire and extinguish them... without the option of clicking on that target once. Only a true medic can hold down a button.
Use the Kritzkrieg. In some cases, the Kritzkrieg is better. I find that it is 90% of the time.
Most importantly: if you can withstand a barrage of mic-users yelling out your name for health: for example: "ROGERRRR!!!! HEAL ME NOW YOU SHITC****!" or "IM ON FIRE ROGERRR! HEAL ME UBERFAST."
If you can combine all of these components into one (a lot of people who use microphones that are on fire while you heal them with the Kritzkrieg) you are the Ubermenschen. Because I certainly am not.
