A fantastic continuation of the classic franchise. The plot reconciles classic max to where he is now in a way that's constantly driving you forward to want to see more. the in game collectables are fun touches when you pick up a dead gang members RPG and it turns solid gold in your hands you know you've got something special. The multiplayer is just as fun, combining what makes single player max so powerful with additional uses of adrenaline that all add to the gameplay in unique ways. don't worry though. you can still bullet time your opponents. just don't dive straight at them or they'll headshot you.

I never knew that I wanted to dive bomb off a water tower into a thug, smash into him and have my momentum drag us across the ground 50 feet before I flip him over by his head, instantly knocking him out. Now I do.
