So what is Fursomnia? Just a place for furries that can't get sleep? No, it's just a name of course! Fursomnia is intended to be more of a relaxation place for people that don't want to have to constantly follow an obscenely strict guideline of rules, or people that just want to have fun!

The rules for the group are fairly simple and shouldn't be too hard to follow.

Rule 1: Don't cause drama. This includes flaming, spamming, or insulting anyone for their religion or race. Furries have already had to deal with enough from non-furries, so let's keep things fairly civil.

Rule 2: NSFW tags are mandatory for yiffy links. Although most people consider this to be tedious, it's actually rather necessary. Imagine if you opened a link and were presented with a full frontal nudity, and in walks your parent, your boss, or anyone else you wouldn't want to see it. It's not fun at all, so please label them if it's NSFW.

3. Don't talk about politics and religion. They're extremely sensitive topics and always end up in drama. Just avoid it and move on.

4. Don't expect to be given an admin just because you asked. I no longer just give people Stars on whimsy, because it's proven to end only in disaster. If you want to be an admin, you should at least attend the chat regularly.

5. Do NOT invite spam everyone in other chat rooms. This was an issue before and it almost caused the group to get in serious trouble. Invite friends, not random people you don't know.


6. Yiff is somewhat allowed, to a degree. A few fetishes, foreplay and sexual undertones are allowed, as well as flirting and suggesting to someone to go off and do something. If someone asks you to stop, please listen to them. However, once it gets to putting something into a hole (yiffing), it needs to be brought into a private message.

That's pretty much it. Hopefully there won't be a need to add any more rules, but if it is deemed necessary, more will be added.
