GENERAL INFOMATION:
We will meet at 12pm on Fridays at the Arts Center, room 216. We will have refreshments and snacks available. There will be a donation box to help get food and cover equipment costs.
We will start with 1. Club News/Updates, 2. Icebreakers, 3. Preparation, 4. Playtime 5. Tear Down.
The club policy and agenda is simply--Bring Your Own Consoles/Controllers. Whatever you would like to play with other players, bring your console: Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, PC(Both new and old generations!). At the moment, we have four monitors and a projector with 6 surround sound speakers.
To combat against gamer exclusion and unnecessary "trolling", we will have two monitors per game: one for casual and New Challengers / one for competitive and Veterans. This will help expand and give awareness to new games.
Like all of Creative Assembly's Total War series, this one is simply awesome. However, like the series, it takes a LONG time to play through a game of this. Think Civilization 5 time. 2+ hours to beat on Easy, Short Campaign. 7+ for Co-op!
Speaking of co-op, it certainly is a nice experience, (managing armies and cutting a bleeding swath through everything that dares look at you funny) but the downside is that you need to WAIT while your friend takes his turn. Hence, the increased time it takes to get stuff done. Regardless, you should surf the net or something in the mean time, because once your two armies join up for the Siege of Kyoto, it -might- be worth it. :)
