Holy smokes that game turned out to be fun.
The sequel to Darwinia is a simplified version of its predecessor, with more emphasis on multiplayer.
Essentially, it's a simplified and fast-paced RTS. You can select between different gamemodes such as King of the Hill, Defense or Capture the Flag and different maps to keep it fresh. The modes are usually all about securing space to get the advantage, and it's a lot of fun handling all your troops while keeping an eye out on incoming enemy waves and Points of Interest.
The game also supports online multiplayer, but no one plays the game.
Oh well, at least the enemy AI is good.

A really lovely indiegame with interesting mechanics.
The visuals are okay, yet sparse at times, and I'm not sure wether the soundtrack is soothing or obnoxious.
The flying mechanics are well polished and fun to toy around with, and the manipulation techniques are pretty decent, yet probably feel better on it's orignal platform, WiiWare.
I'd say buy it if you're interested and it's on discount.
