An item shop economy simulator combined with a Zelda-style top-down action. Trying to balance your daily schedule, interacting with townsfolk and trying to accommodate customers' whims is interesting at first.

However, once you learn the simple hidden rules that govern the customers, you'll be swimming in cash and will blaze through the story in no time. That leaves the action, which really isn't that interesting unless you like mindless grinding.

But if you prefer the action, you probably would like Chantelise better; It's made by the same studio and uses the same engine.

Osmos is a subtle political metaphor disguised as a puzzle game about cells absorbing each other.

This is one of those games that seem really really hard and unfair at first.. until you get to the flow state for the first time. And you don't need any chemicals of questionable legality to get there, the game provides plenty of trippy visuals and sound for that purpose.

Speed, big beams, hordes of enemies, bullet hell kaleidoscopes, tricky landscape patterns.. this game has almost everything. And while it doesn't seem to have the adaptive bosses of Warning Forever, the randomization will keep you on your toes.
