Despite some awkward boss battles and a few over-long slogs through enemy-infested warrens, it's a very engrossing entrance into the VtM world, but wait for it to be on sale since the developers are toast and the publisher is not supporting the game. Definitely install the community's unofficial patch. And here's the tip to running the game in Vista/Win7/etc.: Launch *Steam* as Administrator (right-click the icon, select "run as Administrator". This way the game can run as Admin and connect properly to Steam.

It's like Left 4 Dead, but instead it's Robbery 4 Money. Instead of Zombies, you fight guards and cops. Instead of special infected, you have several kinds of elite police troopers. The missions are generally more linear and straightforward than in L4D & L4D2, as well as being much shorter, but replay value is in the slight randomizations as well as in the level-up system, which unlocks gun, health/armour, and equipment upgrades. These upgrades make it easier to tackle the harder difficulties, another draw. Runs fine on a decent PC. Good control & visual options.
