Do you often get kicked off L4D2 servers? For what reasons?
Appears there's a growing number of butthurts in the L4D2 playerbase. We spent a lot of Steam Wallet bucks for this game and we aim to get our satisfaction out of it. But instead, when we go on these servers and not 30 minutes later we're votekick'd off!
And it doesn't apply to just dedicated servers, but local games as well.
Now let me describe the butthurt:
The consequences of kicking someone out of a L4D2 server is more or less a temporary ban. Calling votekick against a player not only insults them, but it runs the risk of damaging the VAC status of the player.
ONLY call votekick if you see a player cheating, exploiting, mic-spamming, molotov-spamming, bile-spamming, pipe-spamming, or any kind of spam (using voice commands that the programmers never intended the player to use!), or simply being a dumbass. That does include excessive friendly fire--and inevitable team killing, and of course, not helping or healing their teammates after they were just downed or killed.
DO NOT call votekick just because a player sucks playing as the Boomer, Jockey, Hunter, Charger, Smoker, or Tank, and DO NOT call it if he just sucks playing L4D2, period. Just because he's new and unfamiliar to the game doesn't mean you have to remove him. You can, however, remove the player if he's found to be idling without using "Take a Break" and holed out in the safe room area. DO NOT use votekick on players trying to figure out how to use the Build tool (this especially goes double on MTMS EQD servers). No seriously, don't. And why the hell are servers using Ping Kick? It's stupid. Unless you really want an empty server, don't use Ping kick on your own server. Don't ask people to donate to your server to get "votekick immunity" because that's only scalping them out of their pockdetbooks.
Most servers have rules that prevent users from "locking out" certain players indiscriminately, and by that I mean, when that player joins that server they start votekicking him right away.
So, now that we've squared the differences between legitimate and butthurt reasons to call up votekick, don't even think about abusing it again.
This is an open group, and anyone can join, but those who are invited are either abusing votekick, or have been handpicked by the administration team. Anyone can comment and post in the discussions just as long as they abide by the Steam Community Guidelines. Always know the "THINK" rule.

I can give bandicam. It will give less lag. I use Bandicam myself and it is pretty decent to use.
