One fine day, in the middle of the night,
Two dead men got up to fight.
Back to back, they faced one another,
Drew their swords and shot eachother.

If you're looking for a thrill-ride, heart-stopping action, sex, gore and explosions... look elsewhere! Dear Esther is not just a well made game, it's an important one. It's slow bitter-sweet melancholy atmosphere, moving verse and impressive soundtrack make for an unforgettable gaming experience. I have seen no better example of art for art's sake in this medium.
Feels like a natural progression from the original. Rapture gets more fleshed out and you get a deeper look into the ocationally terrifying infastructure of the never-was paradise.
While the game mechanics don't get a revolutionary upgrade, the ideas all recieve an interesting twist, and some seriously difficult ethical dilemas are presented. You won't regret playing it!
This is the game other shooters should apire towards. It's pure artistry. Really I reccomend the whole series (or just the orange box) with Episode 1 being my favourite.
The acting, the timing, the immersion are all seamless. Valve hits all the cues and never misses a beat. If you don't have it already, you are a terrible, unworthy person. Even if FPSs arn't really your thing, this might be the game to make you think twice.
