Visit Kitties of the World's profileIt's not officially done yet, and it shows. Still, if you thought Audiosurf needed more skydiving, this is the game for you.
Pros:
- Fun
- Encourages cooperative play
- Averts "Rainbow Pimp Gear", as TVTropes calls it, by letting you equip gear that isn't ugly over your gear with phat statz0rs
- Interesting level system (short version: your gear levels, not you)
- Cool music
- It's free!
Cons:
- Well, the devs have to pay the bills somehow. Enter "energy". You need energy to enter dungeons, craft gear, form a guild, and do probably a dozen other things I don't know about. There's "mist energy", which recharges at a rate of 1 per 1.32 minutes to a max of 100, and is spent first because it's free. Then there's "crystal energy", which only enters the game when someone buys it for real money. Luckily, you can then buy crystal energy from these people for in-game fake money, so it's not like any of the game is blocked to free players.
Conclusion:
I enjoy this game. If I sent you an invite, it's mostly because I think this game is awesome and you should play it. (The free gear did push it past the tipping point)
