Another classic by Valve. Unfortunately rather short, but the story is genius. Buy it!
Probably _the_ sandbox game to own. At first I was hesitant about purchasing GMod 10 back when it was released, as I thought that GMod 9 was more than enough, but really, the community behind GMod 10 and beyond is so huge that I can only recommend that you check this game out if you like sandbox games.
A graphical improvement over the original 1.6, with an additional engine overhaul preserving the goals of Counter-Strike 1.6. Lots of people still play this, even though it was released many years ago. Can only recommend.
