GNC stands for Gnc is Not a Clan. Knock off of the GNU abbreviation concept (Gnu is Not Unix).
GNC is the Anti-Clan of sorts. The tag [GNC] can be worn without permission and is just a symbol of playing the game for fun and not all obsessed with winning scrims or cal.
Finally got around to beating this game, pretty awesome.

I am a fan of trainers ("cheats") in single player games, so I was intrigued by this DLC since it's not often I see developers cater to that need. Unfortunatly, upon enabling any cheat, achievements and autosave are disabled (lost 4 hours of gameplay due to crash). And if that wasn't bad enough, if I go into a co-op game with a friend that doesn't cheat, it will warn them that I do and it will infect their future save games with my Cheating VD. I could have saved my $3 and used a trainer like normal and I wouldn't have any of these issues.
In summary, I don't recommend this DLC unless you want to give your friends herpes.
