While not exactly amazing and sometimes annoying, at $15, this game is a pretty sweet deal by itself. The story is a huge improvement compared to the first game, in that you no longer have infinite spawns, so you can't really brute force all the way through this time. The gameplay mechanics remain mostly the same as the first game, meaning multiplayer is exactly the same.
A pretty decent third person shooter/hack-and-slasher, and a definitely must-get if you're a fan of the Warhammer 40K universe, especially if your chapter of choice is the Ultramarines. The co-op/versus multiplayer is pretty decent as well, though it may require some getting used to.
While not exactly the most impressive piece of work and labeleb as the worst game of 2011 by many, DNF is by no means a product that will make you gouge your eyes out. While the mechanics are a bit off (regenerating health and arsenal restriction) and movements awkward, the humor still remains, and there lies the main reason to get this game. Humor. I've heard lots of complaints about how "It's not funny anymore", but if you've played the other games, you'd know that it's just the Duke, the same old Duke despite the wonky graphics and strange mechanics. Well worth $20 if you have the money to spare. Otherwise... There's always the occasional sale and it might come down to $5.
