HOLY FUCKTONNE OF SCREENSHOTS, BATMAN.
I review games. Read them :3.
Unyuu~
Mass Effect 2; a game with excellent graphics, storyline, environment, sound, and...meh gameplay, which I'll get into. First, the good: my god this game is a feast for the eyes. Just look at the precise detail of the doors on Illium, Omega, or Tuchanka, for instance...and that's just the doors; the whole environments are beautiful. Or hell, how the Normandy II is carefully sculpted. How real places like the Citadel feel. The Storyline too is awesome as there's multiple ways of going about things. To say it's brilliant is an understatement. There's well fleshed out characters with really good dialogue; even the side characters on the Normandy are given importance. The Meh: the parts where you shoot. They're repetitive and too linear, and once you do 2 or 3 missions you get the whole jist to where it's Firefight->Break->Midboss->Break->Firefight->Break->Some huge boss->You win. That said, I'd give this game a good 83.5/100, and a recommendation. Hope ME3's combat system is improved!
I can't believe I'm saying this but freakin' Autodesk Maya is easier than this. I'm not even joking.
First off; HOW MUCH FUCKING DLC IS THERE FOR THIS GAME?! FUCK. I know simulation games can get heavy handed with expansions and what not (see Flight Simulator 2004/Flight Sim X) but the amount of DLC in this game must amount to at least $700 if not more. Now that I got that out of my system...well, if you like trains, this is a fun game. Mind you, this isn't going to be something fast paced, so if you're expecting that, forget it. Rather, the feeling is that of you being in command of something, and the details are what make this game. Models are good, and like most modern simulators there is excellent 3rd party support for mods and what not (plus, all that DLC). Gameplay is that of a simulator though it does keep one entertained. Final verdict: 80/100, though recommended only if you are a fan of sim games. It's a good sim game, but don't expect zombies to attack your train any time soon.
