Pass the whiskey.

The longevity of this game is 100% dependable of if this game will get skirmish mode implemented in the coming months (I'd say 1-3 months)

But what was promised is here, updated visuals & sound, integrated multiplayer (only pvp), New singleplayer campaigns (although I wish they'd get the voice actors for Sir Longarm, Rat & Snake etc back for those).

Is the game worth it?
If you're in for a singleplayer experience and/or a nostalgia trip it's 100% worth it.
If you want to play skirmish with a couple of friends or against AI, I'd say it's not currently worth it but might be in the futue.

Overall I personally recommend it since they delivered on what they had promised & I got what I expected.

It's actually okay now but there are better paradox games with more content and complexity. Something that bothers me quite a lot though is that they have the ancient world wonders in one of it's main trailers, but they locked them behind a 18 euro dlc ok...

Edit: Spent some more time with 2.0 and it's actually pretty good now.

Unfortunately FireFly seems incapable of recreating their success with Stronghold & Stronghold Crusader leading to what feels like half assed successors. Stronghold as a franchise is just living on pure nostalgia at this point.

6 hours and I've barelly made a dent, this game is filled to the brim with content that might be a bit on the grindy side depending on how you see it. But I for one am enjoying the dark turn based rpg game that this is.

This game is fun and I would give it a good review but it's dead thereby I can't recommend it to anyone.

Edit: Hey new update cool. Plays for 1 day starts up save next day oh my save file is corrupted nice, yeah I'm keeping this review at negative.

Cons
- Tree's dancing in no wind
- Unlimited projectiles.
- Boats doesn't always sync very well so you either go underneath the water or float in the air.
- Bad optimization.
- Everyone basicly looks the same.

Pros
- Looks good.
- Decent melee
