This is an excellent game. Its mechanics are improved from the first Max Payne in every way. The story is positively gripping. The dialogue can get a bit hammed up at times, but if you enjoyed the first game's dialogue you'll enjoy this. The atmosphere is masterfully constructed. The ending is one of the most moving, poignant video game endings I have ever witnessed. Buy this game.

It IS a great game, but I'm doing this for the summer challenge thing.

It's a somewhat open-ended rpg/fps with rich lore and a fascinating story. Can be a bit buggy, but patches and mods are abundant. I paid $20 and got more than my money's worth.
